City Organizer · the biggest step

Take My Inner Journey to your city

A monthly appointment in your city. People who meet to practice together. You holding space. With an entire community behind it to make it simple.

The role, bluntly

What it is (and what it is not) to be a City Organizer

What is the role

  • One event a month, about 2 and a half hours, in a physical space.
  • Preparation and logistics: space, communication, materials.
  • Facilitation of the evening: welcome, times, transitions.
  • Local reference for those who want to participate.
  • Participation in a monthly call with the other organizers.
  • Minimum commitment of 6 months · between 4 and 8 hours per month.

What it is NOT

  • You are not a teacher: you use the scripts and materials that the community provides each month.
  • You are not a therapist: you refer anyone who has clinical difficulties to professionals.
  • You are not a guru: you do not build an entourage or offer “tours” of your own.
  • It is not a professional stepping stone for your paid services.
  • You don't earn money: it's volunteering; Only actual expenses are reimbursed.

If this list disappoints you, it's probably a sign that the role is not for you. If, however, it calms you, continue.

Before moving forward

Three principles that are not negotiated

They are not bureaucracy: they are what makes this a safe space. If they seem excessive or already make you feel uncomfortable, it is better not to show up. There is no judgment, it is a question of compatibility.

  1. No medical or psychological diagnoses, no promises of cure, no pseudoscience presented as science.
  2. No taking advantage of one's own role, influence or position of trust to obtain personal, sexual, economic or any other benefits from the members of the community.
  3. No personal promotion of paid services during events and community channels.

The guide explains in detail what encounters are and how they work. At the end of the guide you will be able to present your application: we ask for 15-20 minutes, only once. It's not an interview: it's a conversation.
